AXIS and Mohsin Cooper Architects have recently been asked to consider the sites potential for redevelopment. We invite local residents to comment on the proposals for the redevelopment of this site, which is accessed from Crossway. The site currently consists predominantly of garages which have fallen into disrepair.

    Virtual Exhibition for the Holyhead Waterfront Regeneration Scheme

    AXIS has been commissioned by Conygar Holyhead Ltd to prepare and submit a detailed planning application for a mixed-use development along Holyhead Waterfront.

    To ensure that the local community is properly consulted and has a full understanding of the proposals, a virtual public exhibition is being presented between 11th January and 1st February 2021 which can be accessed via the following link: https://holyheadwaterfront.consultationonline.co.uk/

    Your views on the proposals are important to us and will be considered, in due course, prior to the submission of the planning application, later in 2021.

    Application for the Proposed Development of a Gas Peaking Plant on Land to the North of National Grid’s 275/400KV Legacy Substation, Talwrn, Wrexham LL14 4HY

    AXIS has been commissioned by HG638LEG Limited to prepare and submit a planning application for a gas peaking plant on land to the north of the existing National Grid Legacy Substation. The plant will generate up to 49.5MW and therefore constitutes a Development of National Significance (DNS) in Wales under the Developments of National Significance (Wales) Regulations 2016 (as amended). In accordance with Section 62 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, the application will be made to the Welsh Ministers.

    Fuller details regarding the details of the application are provided within the introductory section of the Planning Statement in the application documentation below.

    In accordance with the requirements of relevant DNS Regulations, a six week pre-application public consultation is required, which is the stage the application is at currently. Therefore, this webpage has been produced in order to ensure that interested parties can access the full suite of planning application documentation and make representations should they wish. There will also be a chance to make comments during the applications submission consultation period.

    Anyone who wishes to make representations must do so by 6:00pm on 18th October 2020.

    Proposed Section 73 Application to Amend and Delete Various Conditions Attached to Outline Planning Permission Ref. 19C1046A/EIA/ECON

    AXIS has been commissioned by Conygar Holyhead Ltd to prepare and submit a planning application, made under section 73 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended) to vary and remove various conditions attached to outline planning permission 19C1046A/EIA/ECON. The planning application was submitted to Isle of Anglesey County Council on 4th March 2020 and has now been registered (ref. VAR/2020/20/EIA).

    Fuller details regarding the precise purpose of the application are provided within the introductory sections of the application documentation below. However, by way of summary, the principal purpose of the planning application is to vary Conditions 3 and 4 of the above-referenced planning permission in order to extend the period of time within which reserved matters application(s) can be submitted and also extend the time period for the development being implemented.

    In accordance with the requirements of relevant legislation, the Council is required to advertise the fact that it has received a planning application which is supported by an Environmental Impact Assessment. This webpage has been produced in order to ensure that interested parties can access the full suite of planning application documentation and make representations directly to the Council, should they wish.
