More Axis Transport success on major projects in Manchester City Centre
Axis Transport Planning has played a key role as part of the development team supporting Property Alliance Group on two recent successful major re-development projects in Manchester City Centre: ‘Oxygen’ at Piccadilly, a high rise residential scheme of 345 apartments, 12 town houses, leisure space and rooftop garden space, and; 55 Portland Street a 183 Park Plaza hotel & casino scheme, with 84,000sqft office development.

Axis provided full Transport Assessment & Travel Plan input for these projects, as well as providing detailed car park design services in liaison with project architects. The consents come hot on the heels of the 172 apartment Axis Tower success for PAG last year.

Axis Transport are currently involved in a number of other residential re-development schemes in both Manchester and Liverpool City Centres for both PAG and other clients.

Axis Transport progressing detailed design of highway works
The start of 2016 has seen Axis Transport heavily involved in the detailed design of highway schemes to support the delivery of development consents secured last year. In combination with our design partners are working on projects ranging from new estate roads, staff and customer car parks, development access (S278) works to the public highway (serving both employment and residential development) and the implementation of local traffic management and pedestrian crossing works. We expect these works to de delivered on site later in the year.

Axis Transport continuing to support Watkin Jones student residence projects
Axis is providing a range of transport planning and highway design service support to Watkin Jones as part of on-going commissions on Student Residence projects across the UK. Recent schemes include projects in Chester, Leicester, Leeds, Sheffield and Newcastle.
